New carrying concept, the
Walkabout by Kangeaux Outdoors, is designed to be an industrial-strength and multifunctional carrying tool for the outdoor adventurer and sports enthusiast alike.
What is the Walkabout? This ingenious little clip-on carrier unit can
carry just about anything you can wrap it around, up to 150 pounds in
weight. They have three main parts – the Strap-Wrap
(Velcro/Neoprene/Webbing), a flat black carabiner with the Kangeaux
logo, and the Survival Series 550 Para-cord lanyard and bracelet combo. With the development of the Walkabout, Kangeaux Outdoors has designed a carrier like none other. I put it to the test.
My experience with the new Universal Carrier by
Kangeaux Outdoor is a new fun way not to worry about carrying extra things easily. Whether you have a backpack for long hiking and camping or just a walk on a trail.
When an early start and have to have coffee, with the Walkabout hook the thermos to your backpack. For the warmer days hook the water bottle up to it with carabiner clip.
In addition, the
whole thing comes in a nice little carrying sleeve with a cinch closure,
which can also be harnessed through the carabiner,
Everything in one place and easy to carry without a lot of weight and leaving hands free.
The bracelet can be removed from the other two parts and used
separately. It unravels to be a useful lanyard for those who prefer to
carry lightweight gear around their neck or shoulder. The para-cord comes in handy if you need to have a quick clothes line or a shelter. Unwind it and hang from trees to dry clothes or to stay dry in the rain.
You can check out the Walkabout at
